Most chips smaller than a quarter and cracks shorter than a few inches can be repaired, as long as they are not in the driver's direct line of sight or at the very edge of the glass. A repair takes about 30 minutes, keeps your factory seal and costs a fraction of a replacement. If the damage has spread or sits in a bad spot, we will tell you honestly that a replacement is the safer call.
Both. Our mobile technicians cover Monroe, Everett, Snohomish, Lake Stevens, Bothell, Woodinville, Kirkland, Seattle and the rest of Snohomish and North King County, and will work in your driveway or at your workplace. If you would rather drop the vehicle off, our Monroe shop handles in-shop replacements and ADAS calibrations in a controlled, dry bay.
If your vehicle has a camera behind the windshield for lane keeping, forward collision warning or adaptive cruise control, yes. Replacing the glass moves the camera by a tiny amount and the system has to be recalibrated to the manufacturer's specification. We tell you up front whether your vehicle needs it and include it in the quote.
Usually about an hour. The urethane adhesive we use has a published safe drive-away time, and your technician will tell you the exact time for your vehicle and the weather that day. We also ask you to leave a window cracked and avoid car washes for the first day.
Many comprehensive policies cover glass, and some cover chip repairs with no deductible at all because it saves the insurer a full replacement later. Call us with your policy details and we will help you figure out what is covered before any work starts.
